Welcome to Northeastern Middle School Library

The library at Northeastern Middle School serves as a physical and virtual digital portal to learning and literature for a wide variety of reading and information needs. In addition to our print collection of popular fiction, content linked non-fiction, biography and reference resources we also have audio books in MP3 and CD versions, magazines and databases for all our learning needs. Our goal at NEMS is to prepare students for a transliteracy world to be critical thinkers and contributors to the global society through the use of proper digital citizenship. We are able to borrow materials from other buildings in the district as well as from participating AccessPA/SHAREit! libraries. Library lessons are integrated with technology using digital platforms, build upon PA ELA standards and promote higher order thinking through problem solving using the BIG6 model as our research process.

If you have any questions feel free to contact the librarian, Mrs. Deborah Hoover.
